Imagine waking up in a yurt in a redwood grove, slipping into a warm sulphur bath and listening to birds greeting the day around you. Warm from the hot springs tub, you enjoy an hour of yoga and when it is finished you sit down to a nourishing breakfast prepared for you. Spend the rest of the morning engaged in deep visioning work among a circle of women, revving up the parts of your life that want some attention this spring–physical health, career, relationships. The day goes on with a light lunch, a hike, another working circle filled with laughter, tears and learning and another soak. Evening activities include feasting, revelry, introspection and more soaking.
Nourish and Flourish: A Retreat for Busy Women at Orr Hot Springs includes 3 days of this unwinding yet productive bliss.
Hosted by coach Christina Sanders and I, the retreat has been carefully crafted to take care of you every step of the way so that you can spend time contemplating life’s bigger questions.
Life moves at fast clip. It’s essential–for your vitality, for your mental health, for your relationships, and even for your productivity–to take deliberate pauses to focus on life’s biggest intentions.
A little about the venue: Orr Hot Springs is a small, tranquil, clothing optional resort settled deep in the rolling hills of the Mendocino Coastal Range. Situated on a beautiful country road between the towns of Mendocino and Ukiah, the springs flourish on 27 acres at the headwaters of Big River.
A little about Christina Sanders: Christina is a certified professional coach, mediator, and facilitator. A former attorney and human rights advocate, Christina has spent the last twenty years empowering people to set the course of their own lives. As a mother and a business owner, she deeply understands the challenges faced by women in the 21st Century – often juggling high-powered roles with parenting in a fast paced, demanding world. She’s passionate about supporting women of all ages and stages of life to live to their fullest potential.
Last year’s retreat was a huge success and sold out quickly. The early bird registration ends on February 28, so we hope you’ll slip into that warm water us and spend a few days reconnecting with your essential ease.
