• 3 T turmeric, freshly grated or powdered
• 1/4 t black pepper
• 1 cup of water
• almond or coconut milk
First prepare a golden yellow turmeric paste: Place ingredients in a saucepan and simmer, covered at low heat for 8-15 minutes. It will form a thick paste. Refrigerated this will keep for 2 weeks in a jar. When ready to make Golden Milk, place the following ingredients in a saucepan. 8-10 oz of almond or coconut milk 1 t turmeric paste, above. While stirring on a low heat, bring the milk just to the boiling point and remove from heat.
